IBI Joins the Global Alliance for Trade in Services to Jointly Promote the Digital Development of Trade in Services
Recently, the Special Membership Meeting of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services was grandly held in Beijing. IBI was invited to attend and officially became a new member unit of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services. The two parties will collaborate to deepen cooperation in areas such as digital trade in services and international supply chain coordination, jointly exploring new pathways for the high-quality development of global trade in services.

The Global Alliance for Trade in Services is an international, industry-oriented, and non-profit social organization dedicated to promoting the exchange and cooperation in global trade in services. As of early 2025, the alliance’s membership has expanded to cover 288 entities across 41 countries, with an internationalization rate of 36%. It plays a significant role in promoting the alignment of international rules and mutual recognition of service standards.
This membership follows extensive prior exchanges and consensus between the two parties. In August 2025, Jiang Zengwei, Chairman of the Alliance, led a delegation to visit IBI’s Digital Economy Headquarters. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on regional digital economy collaboration and the internationalization of trade in services. The Alliance highly praised IBI’s industrial internet model, recognizing its potential for integration with international markets. It was noted that the Alliance and IBI could deepen exploration in areas such as cross-border digital services, jointly creating new paradigms for cooperation.
As an important platform for promoting the development of international trade in services, the Global Alliance for Trade in Services will see IBI actively participating in activities such as the Global Trade in Services Entrepreneurs Summit organized by the Alliance. Leveraging its business layout in industrial e-commerce, industrial digitalization, and cross-border industrial clusters, IBI will play an active role in promoting the coordination of industrial and supply chains, exploring new models for digital trade in services, and contributing to the digital development and high-level openness of global trade in services.
As a vertical e-commerce platform under IBI focused on the entire agricultural industry chain, LYDD will closely follow IBI’s globalization initiatives, anchor its efforts in building a digital ecosystem for the agricultural sector, and collaborate with the headquarters to explore new opportunities in international trade in services.
