China's titanium industry finally has its own international
Recently, a reporter from China Business Daily learned from the official website of the International Organization for Standardization that the ISO 23515 "Titanium and Titanium al-loysâDesignationsystem (Titanium and Titanium al-loysâDesignationsystem)", which was led by China and led by Baoti Group, a subsidiary of Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group, was officially released and implemented. , which is a historic breakthrough in the internationalization of titanium standards in China, filling the gap in the international naming rules for titanium grades and the range of chemical components of grades. It is also a key step for China's titanium industry to enhance its international competitiveness.

However, most of the titanium industry cites and learns from the international standard system, and there is a lack of "Chinese voice" in the international standard system, which restricts the international development of my country's titanium industry. Baoti Group is one of the first large-scale specialized state-owned enterprises in my country to carry out scientific research, production and application research on titanium and titanium alloys. Therefore, in 2020, Baotai Group participated in the preparation of 2 ISO international standards, and released and implemented them, realizing the first strategic goal of "following"; followed by the release and implementation of ISO 23515, Baotai Group achieved ISO international standards. The important symbol of the second step of the standardization development strategy, "walking in step", has laid a solid foundation for the realization of the goal of "leading" in the third step.
