June 2021 titanium dioxide production data
According to Tudor statistics, China's titanium dioxide production in June 2021 was 322,000 tons, down 2.98% YoY and up 14.63% YoY. January-June 2021 production totaled about 1,909,800 tons, up 18.58% YoY.
June regional production has increased and decreased, Sichuan, Yunnan region, a large reduction of 32%, 31%, respectively. Southwest region by the market and power restriction policies, such as the impact of enterprises have more production cuts, July, there are manufacturers to return to normal, production has been up.
June production ranking of the top three regions are Sichuan, Shandong, Anhui, distribution accounted for 22%, 15%, 12% of total production.
The production of chloride method in June was 27,100 tons, up 8% from the production in May.
Titanium dioxide market off-season, downstream demand is weak, the price of shipping freight and the recovery of foreign titanium dioxide enterprises, foreign trade orders turn weak, individual areas of the price concessions. Domestic prices have also declined, some manufacturers are still in the price, and some enterprises are also reducing production, production is expected to decline slightly in July.
