Yulin Energy Group's annual production of 400,000 tons of coal-to-glycol project started construction

On January 8, Shaanxi Yulin Energy Group Co., Ltd. started the ceremony for the start-up ceremony of an annual production of 1.2 million tons of coal-based ethylene glycol first phase 400,000 tons in Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Zone.

The annual output of 400,000 tons of coal-based ethylene glycol project of Yulin Energy Group is located in Qingshui Industrial Park of Yushen Industrial Zone. The total area is about 1711 mu, and the estimated total investment is 5.8 billion yuan. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in May 2021. In the production process, coal-based synthesis gas is used, carbon monoxide and hydrogen are separated by gas purification, and ethylene glycol is indirectly synthesized by carbonylation, coupling, hydrogenation, and dimethyl carbonate, crude ethanol, mixed alcohol, sulfur, Industrial products such as liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen, the main process units are coal-based syngas plants, purification and separation devices, ethylene glycol plants, boiler thermoelectric devices, air separation plants and supporting public works. After the project is completed and put into production, it can realize an annual business income of 2.897 billion yuan.
