On July 8, a Francophone African seminar on China’s reform and opening-up experience visited IBI’s Digital Economy Headquarters. Twenty-seven senior officials from eight African countries engaged in in-depth discussions with IBI leadership on digital port operations, overseas warehousing, cross-border supply chain optimization, mineral resource trade, and agricultural cooperation. IBI emphasized Africa’s strategic importance, highlighting synergies between Africa’s industrialization drive and China’s digital and industrial capabilities. Participants explored concrete collaboration opportunities—from warehouse digitization in the DRC to Gabon’s deep-water port development and Cameroon/DRC’s premium coffee/cocoa exports. IBI pledged to leverage its cross-border e-commerce platforms and industrial internet expertise to advance high-quality, value-chain-oriented China–Africa economic cooperation.
