The 3rd Belt and Road Cultural and Technological Integration Development Conference, held on November 18 in Beijing’s Changping District, gathered over 400 delegates from 15 countries and diverse sectors—including government, academia, heritage institutions, and tech enterprises—under the theme “A New Ecosystem of AI+ Cultural Technology from an International Perspective.” Co-organized by leading Chinese think tanks and cultural entities, the event emphasized deepening civilizational exchange, driving cultural-tourism digital transformation, and scaling global collaboration. Hao Fang of IBI and Cultural Tourism Duoduo highlighted AI’s role as a “warm bridge” for cultural heritage and emotional connection, showcasing innovations in IP activation, experiential reconstruction, and traffic amplification across “cultural tourism + industry/digitization/sports.” The conference aims to build a Belt and Road cultural-tourism digital community and establish a world-leading integrated production-culture-tourism model.

Hao Fang, Vice President of IBI and CEO of Xinduo and Cultural Tourism Duoduo, shared the practical results of Cultural Tourism Duoduo in innovating the development of the cultural tourism industry empowered by artificial intelligence during the sub-forum on artificial intelligence promoting international cultural exchange and cooperation. Relying on the core development strategy of IBI's "platform, technology, and data," Cultural Tourism Duoduo integrates AI technology throughout the entire business chain, focusing on three core directions: activating IP value, reconstructing experience scenarios, and amplifying traffic value. It continues to break new ground in the fields of "cultural tourism + industry," "cultural tourism + digitization," and "cultural tourism + sports events," showcasing stories of the industry, local regions, and China through diverse practices.
