On January 15, Shi Zhongjun of the China-ASEAN Center led a delegation to IBI for strategic talks with Liu Zhai and senior executives. Discussions centered on deepening China-ASEAN digital economic cooperation—especially in Guangxi—covering B2B platform development, regional headquarters establishment, and cross-border industrial chain integration. The delegation toured IBI’s digital economy exhibition hall, learning about its Duoduo platform, industrial cluster strategies, and IBI Cloud applications. Both sides emphasized leveraging policy coordination (China-ASEAN Center) and digital industrial expertise (IBI/TDD) to advance localized digital trade, cloud factories, and supply chain finance. Key outcomes include joint efforts to build a China-ASEAN (and potentially China-Central Asia) B2B digital trading platform, enhancing regional economic integration and high-quality development.

The visiting delegation toured the digital economy exhibition hall, learning about IBI's current Duoduo platform operation model, cross-border operational strategies of industrial clusters, and the technical applications and practice strategies of IBI Cloud.
The China-ASEAN Center is an intergovernmental international organization jointly established by China and the ten ASEAN countries. It aims to promote practical cooperation and friendly exchanges between China and ASEAN in areas such as trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism. It serves as an important platform for deepening the strategic partnership between the two sides.

During the exchange, Shi Zhongjun stated: "The China-ASEAN Center has long been dedicated to promoting mutual connectivity and sustainable development in economy and trade between the two sides. It has unique advantages in policy communication, platform construction, and project coordination. IBITDD has extensive experience in platform operations and digital capabilities in the field of industrial internet, particularly excelling in cross-border industrial belt services. I hope both sides can enhance collaboration to jointly facilitate digital connectivity and cooperation in the industrial chain and supply chain sectors between China and ASEAN enterprises, contributing to regional economic integration and high-quality development."
Liu Zhai stated: "IBI is grounded in an industrial internet platform and continues to deepen industrial chain services. We have established the China (ASEAN) Chongzuo Fruit Trading Center in Pingxiang, Guangxi, actively exploring new models for cross-border digitalized trade. Guangxi, as a frontier hub of China's openness and cooperation with ASEAN, has significant geographical advantages. The company will leverage its platform and technical capabilities to further enhance the industrial hub functions of the Guangxi-ASEAN region. Both parties will jointly explore the construction of a B2B digital trading platform serving China-ASEAN and even China-Central Asia, implementing localized operations, digital cloud factories, and supply chain finance as innovative service scenarios, contributing to the stability and advancement of regional industrial and supply chains."
Attending the discussion were Zhao Hong, Director of the Trade and Investment Department at the China-ASEAN Center; Yang Ming, an official from the Trade and Investment Department; Wang Xianghong, Vice President of TDD and Director of the Big Data Management Department; and Zhao Qianren, Assistant to the President of TDD.
