The China Shipbuilding Industry Association and the People’s Government of Taizhou City signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

　　On March 25, the China Shipbuilding Industry Association and the Taizhou Municipal Government officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will use this cooperation as a link to focus on promoting Taizhou's high-tech shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment industry towards high-end, intelligent, and green development, further solidifying the foundation for the development of the "Tongtaiyang" national-level advanced manufacturing cluster, and assisting in the deep and practical construction of China's maritime power. Li Yanqing, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Shipbuilding Industry Association, Li Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee, and Qin Meng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Taizhou Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of the Taizhou Municipal Government, attended the signing ceremony.

By 2025, Taizhou's shipbuilding completion volume and order volume will account for over 18% domestically, with the high-tech shipbuilding industry chain's output value reaching 93.82 billion yuan. Leading enterprises such as Yangtze River Shipbuilding, New Era Shipbuilding, Port Shipbuilding, and Sanfu Shipbuilding have prominent leading roles, while supporting enterprises like Yaxing Anchor Chain, Zhaosheng Air Conditioning, and Antarctic Machinery occupy important positions in global niche fields, forming a complete industrial ecosystem from assembly manufacturing to core support, from technology research and development to production application. The "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" period is a critical stage for upgrading and strengthening Taizhou's shipbuilding and marine engineering industry.
