The inauguration of the Beilun Maritime Rescue Center marks a new chapter in standardized and systematic maritime emergency response in Ningbo's Beilun District. Tasked under the Beilun District Government and guided by the Ningbo Maritime Rescue Center, it unifies the efforts of 43 member organizations, including maritime, emergency, and law enforcement agencies. With advanced technology like radar, VHF, video surveillance, and drone patrols, alongside robust assets such as rescue fleets and oil spill response units, the center ensures rapid and effective handling of emergencies. Supporting Ningbo Zhoushan Port’s operations, one of the busiest waterways globally, the center enhances safety, turning fragmented resources into a streamlined force, safeguarding the region's vital role in global trade.
