Since the beginning of this year, the central corridor of the China-Europe Railway Express has seen over 1,500 train trips.

　　On April 28, it was learned from China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd. that as of April 27, as the only entry and exit port for the middle corridor of the China-Europe freight train, Erlianhot Railway Port has handled 1,515 China-Europe freight trains this year, transporting 144,900 standard containers, an increase of 19.7% and 12.3% year-on-year respectively.

　　Erlianhot Railway Port effectively implements the "daily dialogue, monthly meeting" mechanism with Mongolia's Zamyn-Uud station, deepening the "two stations integration" organizational model at the border station, dynamically sharing the traffic structure and station storage situation of the two stations, ensuring the "fast passage and fast transport" of China-Europe freight trains.

　　"We also optimize the operation process of China-Europe freight trains by reasonably arranging trains and improving the quality of transportation planning, further enhancing the operational efficiency of China-Europe freight trains," said Yun Zhijun, director of the dispatch workshop at Erlian Station of China Railway Hohhot Group Co., Ltd. Currently, the customs clearance time for China-Europe freight trains at Erlianhot Railway Port has been reduced to about 30 minutes.

　　The Erlianhot Railway Port has 75 China-Europe freight train routes, reaching more than 70 hub stations in over 10 countries including Germany and Poland. The variety of transit goods is rich, with the proportion of high-value-added products such as new energy vehicles and parts, high-end machinery and equipment continuously increasing.
